Dana SAC NZ Ltd was formed in 1993 as a local subsidiary to the manufacturing arm of Brevini based in Italy. With its roots firmly planted in the planetary gearbox and hydraulic industry, the early sales team set about providing products and expertise to mainly end users throughout the country. Many sawmills used our modular, easy-to-assemble planetary gearbox system as the standardized product throughout their plants, its versatility and sturdiness proving unbeatable.
25 years later and the local company has supplied thousands of gearboxes, hydraulic power units and hydraulic components, to a raft of long standing OEM clients and end users alike.
The team of 25 enjoys being able to offer the local market a unique perspective on applications as diverse as rotary milking platforms in New Plymouth to steep country forestry harvesting winches in Rotorua.
From the Viaduct pedestrian bridge operation in downtown Auckland to the horizontal bungy winches for the adventure tourism industry in Queenstown.
